End of Year Teacher Gift

I found a cute idea, again, on Pinterest!!

It's sometimes difficult to think of unique gifts for those special teachers to say 'Thank You' for taking care of our babies all year. I thought the idea of using your teachers favorite color to fill a basket of goodies for them to use through the summer was super cute!!

This is what I came up with for two of my kiddos teachers.

Green: Mrs. Sinacola
*green:
composition book, pen, paper straws, EOS lip balm, flip flops, foot scrub, candle, tic tacs, extra gum, bubbles, silly string, nail polish, post it notes, hair bands, hand sanitizer, drink mix, travel mug, mirror & tweezers, pumice stone, mike and Ike candy and a set of green paper plates, napkins and plastic ware for a 'no dishes' night.
I will also attach a cute little poem:

Green is..juicy grapes and green tea.
Green is..the leaves on the trees.

Green is..the grass on the ground.
Green is..truly all around.

Green is..lucky, for this I am;
Because Mrs Sinacola told me 'I can'.

Blue: Mrs. Schmidt

*blue:
composition book, pen, paper straws, EOS lip balm, flip flops, foot scrub, candle, tic tacs, extra gum, bubbles, silly string, nail polish, post it notes, nestle crunch, blueberry muffin mix, hand sanitizer, drink mix, travel mug, mirror & tweezers, pumice stone, mike and Ike candy and a set of green paper plates, napkins and plastic ware for a 'no dishes' night.

I will also attach a cute little poem:

Blue is..the taste of blueberry pie;
             The big, huge open sky.
Blue is..the tears you wiped away;
              What I don't feel when we play.
Blue is..robins eggs, rainbows, crayons and beautiful gardens.
But best if all, blue is Mrs Scmidts favorite colour.

Teacher Appreciation Week Movie Theme

We LOVE to celebrate our awesome teachers. Their dedication and love for our kiddos is deserving of so much more than we can ever do. But we will try to show our appreciation whenever we can!!

This year, I am honored to be the room mom for my oldest daughters' 5th grade class. One of Mrs Garcia's 'favorite things' is going to the movies. So I looked through Pinterest for some ideas and came up with some cute ideas of my own.
I started off by decorating her classroom door. Each little popcorn has the name of each of her students. I got all the fun decorations at Mardels.

These little buckets were left in her room all week for the kiddos to fill with goodies. Instructions were sent home so they would know what to bring on what day. These buckets were just a few dollars at Hobby Lobby and I had a set left over for future use.

This is the note I wrote and printed to send home with all the kiddos in her class with instructions for each day on how we could celebrate Mrs Garcia.

I hope Mrs Garcia knows how appreciated she is by the students and parents!!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!!

Baseball Themed Party for Kids

Like most little boys, my little Zeker, loves everything Baseball!!  So what better theme is there than an Everything Baseball Party for his 7th birthday!!⚾️

The 'must haves' include:
 Baseballs, licorice, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, pickles, bubble gum, lemonade, sunflower seeds.
I made the cute 'can game' with used vegetable cans, stickers and little balls from Oriental Trading. And I made cute little tees for Zeke, mommy and daddy with iron on transfer paper that I printed a baseball and names😊

There's a lot you can do with just a printer, *full 8 1/2x11 sticker sheets and the Dollar Tree store 😊.

Gift bags included a baseball, foam bat(not pictured), baseball sucker, Bball popper, mini slinky, plastic Ball mug w/straw, baseball cookie, personalized baseball pencils(not pictured).
My sister in law made the awesome cake and cookies😊❤️

Friends signed a baseball for Zeke; a fun keepsake!!

And of course we served hotdogs!!
The only picture I have is the condiment tray😳

I didn't get any pictures of the bounce houses😢. But they were super cute and the kids had a blast bouncing for 3 hours straight!!!
